GROUP VISITS
Groups are welcome Sunday to Friday by prior arrangement. We try to be as helpful as possible when arranging group visits, so please do contact us to discuss how we can make your visit memorable and enjoyable.
We can offer private tours of the House and Gardens and private use of the Cloisters Tearoom (please have a look at our Group Menu). If you would like to expand your visit we can also offer special tours of the Gardens with our Head Gardener or a guided walk through the estate.
Coach parties: Only 5 minutes off M6 Junction 41, we are a good destination en route to/from Scotland. We provide easy access and parking for coaches, as well as free refreshments for coach drivers.
To make a booking for a group visit to Hutton, please download and fill out the booking form and return it to Pamela Davidson either by post or electronically.
BRINGING HISTORY TO LIFE
Contact us to custom build a school visit.
We are happy to work with you to provide a day out for students that suits your specific school projects or curriculum – be that the Victorians, architecture, nature and wild-life, or sketching/photographic trails.
THE HOUSE
The ground floor of the house is accessible for wheel chairs. Unfortunately there is no access to the second floor of the house except via the stairs.
THE GARDENS
The Terraces, Walled Garden and part of the Woodland Walk are all accessible to wheel chairs, although the gravel paths can make pushing hard work.
THE CLOISTERS TEAROOM
The Tearoom is accessible down a short ramp through a side door.
TOILET
There is a disabled toilet within the toilet block.
If you have any questions, do call us up in advance to discuss!
