BRINGING HISTORY TO LIFE

Please feel free to contact us to custom build a school visit. We are happy to work with you to provide a visit that suits your specific school projects or curriculum.

We can offer tours of the House with particular reference to the Victorian period and different architectural styles, sketching in the Walled Garden or a Woodland Walk with a photographic trail.

THE HOUSE

The ground floor of the house is accessible for wheel chairs. Unfortunately there is no access to the second floor of the house except via the stairs.

THE GARDENS

The Terraces, Walled Garden and part of the Woodland Walk are all accessible to wheel chairs, although the gravel paths can make pushing hard work.

THE CLOISTERS TEAROOM

The Tearoom is accessible down a short ramp through a side door.

TOILET

There is a disabled toilet within the toilet block.
